Tauon

The tauon is a particle of the family of the Lepton S, of mass 1777 MeV.c-2. It is symbolized by . Its properties are close to those of the electron and the Muon, but it is more massive and of weak lifespan. With its Neutrino associated and the Quark S T ( signal ) and B ( bottom or beauty ), it forms the third series (most massive) of Fermion S in the standard model.
