Taula

In Archeology, a taula is a Mégalithe in form of “T” which one finds on the island of Minorque, in the Balearic Islands. The taulas can measure up to 3,7 m in height and consist of a vertical pillar (a Orthostat or several stones placed one above the other) and of a horizontal stone which it chapeaute. Often, a wall in the shape of “U” surrounds the structure.

The taulas were built by civilization Talayot between 1000 and 300 av. J. - C.
