The people who claim to have seen the tatzelworm or stollenwurm describe it like a long Ver of 1 meter 20 to 1 meter 50, equipped with a two forefoot and nigger head equipped with claws. They specify that it is able to make extraordinary jumps and some claim that it releases an unbearable stink. He was first of all seen with the Moyen-Âge, or one told that he escaped from the Aar, in Switzerland (at the time completion inaccessible and consequently favourable with the development of a legend) to commit various crimes on the cattle, then, in 1814, a researcher and scientific Berliner named Samuel Studer declared that a monster haunted indeed in the throats.Many people then stated to have seen it in 1921 with Hochfilzen, in the south of Austria, then the phenomenon reproduced in 1954 with Palermo in Sicily. Like the famous Monster of the Log Born, the tatzelworm thereafter became a subject of recurring article for the local dailies, perfect for the journalists who sought to fill a vacuum in the topicality.
