History

Tassili Airlines was inaugurated in 1997 and accomplished its first flights in April 1999. The capital is held at 100% by the oil company Sonatrach. After the repurchase of the actions which Air Algérie in Tassili Airlines held, Sonatrach decided to restructure the company Tassili Airlines in an air group which has three subsidiary companies:

Naftatassili Air which deals with the transport of the workers of the sector starting from the hydrocarbon layers,
Tassili Airlines which deals with the public transport domesticates and international, of passengers and goods,
Tassili Agro Air which deals with air work.
