Tasmannia
Tasmannia is a kind of bushes Angiosperme S with long-lived foliage of the family of the Winteraceae . These plants are originating in Australia, of New Guinea, the Célèbes, Borneo and the Filipino .
The Winteraceae are Dicotylédone S primitives (paléodicotylédones) and are regarded as belonging to the oldest plants with flowers because of their floral anatomy and of the structure of their wood.
The plants of this family generally have a bark and aromatic sheets and some are used for their essential oils. The fruits and the dried sheets with pepper odor see their use increasing like Condiment in Australia. The pepper odor is due to an essential oil called Polygodial.
