Tashigi is a character of the Manga One Piece .

It is lieutenant in the navy under the orders of the colonel Smoker. Recognized like an excellent epeist in the Navy, his goal is to find all the legendary blades scattered in the world. It has a great regard for colonel Smoker with whom it maintains a relation the father-girl type. Zorro Roronoa is very disturbed by it owing to the fact that it resembles enormously her best friend of childhood died by accident.

History

Tashigi appears for the first time in the volume 11, where one sees it with the catches with two pirates who want to avenge their captain who was made capture by colonel Smoker. Zorro passes by there and decides to intervene but time that it arrives, Tashigi had already left its saber and had gotten rid of the two géneurs. It seems however awkward because it falls and loses its glasses without which it does not see anything the whole. Zorro returns and notes then at this time a resemblance to him striking to Kuina, his/her friend of late childhood. One re-examines it shortly after to return in the shop of saber or Zorro was arrété, to recover a saber which it had made maintain. The salesman teaches us at this time that it has an excellent saber. She advises then Zorro in the choice of the sabers, and seems to know much thing on them. She carries on her a small booklet where various excellent sabers are referred. It is it which learns in Zorro which the saber that it has is extraordinary and of a very great value. It then reveals its dream which is to currently gather all the legendary blades with the hands of the brigands and the pirates. When she learns later that Zorro is in fact a pirate, she cuts her escape (see volume 12) and a duel imposes to him. Zorro does not make him any gift and beats it with platte seam but refuses to kill her. This one feels dishonoured and decides to continue Zorro on the road of all the dangers, thus following Smoker which tracked Luffy of sound with dimensions.

One will re-examine Tashigi of time to others, recovering for example an excellent saber with the hand of a pirate, until the passage of Alabasta. There it once again is seen awkward because it looked at sabers with the other end of the city while Luffy and its crew escaped. It then is seen pursueing Zorro in front of the casino of Crocodile. At the time of the civil war of Alabasta, it decides, vis-a-vis its impotence against the agents Baroque Works, to support Luffy and its crew and to try to stop the war between the army of Alabasta and the civilians armed. After that, it prohibits to capture the crew of Luffy whereas they all were disappeared. She did not see herself blaming by her colonel for that, and he it souteint then by saying to him that it had done what it believed just. But Tashigi answered then Smoker which was because it was impotent to stop Crocodile which it had acts thus, and crumbled in tear. Smoker advised to him to become stronger instead of crying, but was already what it intended to do. Smoker encouraged its men to follow his example.
