Tarzan in the middle of the Earth

Summary of the novel
Amateur of radio, Jason Gridley , which heard a distress call coming from Pellucidar , in the center of the Earth, is decided to leave to the help David Innes (see the preceding novel of the cycle, Tanar de Pellucidar) . He goes to Africa to ask for the assistance of Tarzan , which agrees to become the chief of its forwarding, and develops a special Dirigeable, O-220, intended to pass by the polar opening leading to Pellucidar. On his side, Tarzan decides to take along with him ten warriors waziris.
After Jason engaged a crew, O-220 moves towards the North pole and penetrates in the polar opening which makes it possible to enter Pellucidar. After a few hours of navigation, it lands on a large plain bordered of forests. Tarzan is the first to leave the airship to explore the surroundings. Worrying about its prolonged absence, Jason leaves to its research, accompanied by Von Horst and the warriors waziris. An attack of wild animals makes them separate. Jason manages to return healthy and except to the vessel and sets out again in the search of his/her companions missing on board a reconnaissance aircraft which one had before charged on the airship. The attack of a giant Pteranodon the fact of being crushed close to an assembly line but Gridley draws some unscathed. With ground, it saves a prehistoric young woman of its prosecutors. She names Jana , called the red Fleur of Zoram . Jason decides to be used to him as escort to its tribe but, in the mountains, she quarrels with him and leaves it. It after a fashion tries to follow it but they are definitively separate at the time of a terrible storm.
During this time, Tarzan, distracted by the landscape, had been done stupidly captured by the Sagoths , people of man-monkeys living the area. Surprised that Tarzan speaks the same language that them, they decide to take it along to their village, but Tarzan includes/understands soon that they plot against the chief of their forwarding, Tar-gash . When they try to assassinate it, it saves the life to him and manages to flee in its company in the forest.
Tarzan wants to find his companions and Tar-gash takes it along towards an assembly line. In way, they meet Thoar de Zoram , which they draw from the claws of a Phorusrhacos and which is being the brother of Jana. They arrive soon at the place where the plane of Jason was crushed and the three men decide to follow the traces of Jason and Jana. In the mountains, a Pteranodon the attack and removes Tarzan. The died believer, Tar-gash and Thoar separate. But Tarzan manages to release himself from the animal then saves the life of a boy, Ovan , that a bear of the caves had attacked. Ovan takes it along to its village of Clovi where it is rather well received. However all is spoiled when warriors arrive while taking along with them a prisoner, Jana. Ovan helps Tarzan and Jana to be fled by a secret tunnel. They descend the mountain then and abound in a plain where the Triceratops abound. It is there to be captured by Horibs , people of intelligent lizards which seize human to devour them thereafter.
In the mountains, Jason met Thoar and the two men are descended in the plain to try to find Jana. They are made prisoners by a group of Korsars (see Tanar de Pellucidar ) who sought women to take them along in their country. On the way towards the sea, the group is attacked by Horibs, and the survivors (Jason, Thoar and some Korsars) are taken along in their cave below the river while waiting to be eaten. Jason then suggests with his/her companions digging a tunnel to be able to escape.
The group of Horibs which made captive Tarzan and Jana are attacked by the warriors waziris who release the two prisoners. The escape from Jason joins together them all, except Von Horst which was not found. They set out again then towards the sea where they are discovered by O-220 which flew over the area with their research. All are accommodated on board and, with the assistance of the prisoners korsars, one decides to move towards their capital in order to deliver David Innes. On the way, they fall on the fleet from the emperor from Pellucidar which also sailed towards the capital korsar. The sight of the airship impresses the pirates who agree to deliver their prisoner. Tarzan and the crew of the airship sets out again then on the surface of the Earth, but Jason, which was reconciled with Jana, become its been engaged, made the decision to remain to try to find Von Horst.
