Tartiers is a common French, located in the department of the Aisne and the area Picardy.

History
" Tartigerium" is quoted in 813. Given in 893 by the king Eudes to the Abbey Saint M3edard's Day de Soissons, it becomes the seat of a Maladerie joined together with the Hôtel-Dieu of Soissons in 1697.

Church and vault, both dedicated to Holy-Genevieve. A site of the borough, at the end of a plate, dominates the small valley of the Ru of Fouquerolles with a wide sight.
Personalities related to the commune
- Tassart (born in Tartiers in???? , and deceased in Tartiers the March 19th 1871). Mayor of his commune of 1821 to 1871 and vice-president of the Council of district. It was to advise of district of 1834; substitute for Justice of the Peace; delegated primary education and inspection of the local roads; as expert finally chosen by the civil court of Soissons.
