Tart with the Maroilles cheese

The Tart with the Maroilles cheese or Flamiche with the Maroilles cheese is a culinary speciality of Thiérache.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. To preheat the furnace with 50 °C.
  2. To make inflate yeast in glass or a cup with a little warm water and sugar.
  3. In a salad bowl, to dig a well with the flour, to pour in the center egg, yeast and salt. To knead the mixture with the hand until obtaining a viscous paste.
  4. To butter and powder with flour a dish then to spread out the paste. To put at the furnace during approximately 20 minutes so that the paste inflates.
  5. To cut sections of Maroilles cheese and to cover the paste with it.
  6. To put at the furnace during 15-20 minutes with 180 °C.
