This tart is a Belgian speciality coming from the area of Verviers in Province of Liege, but also in Belgian and Dutch Limbourg. Since generations of small tarts to the rice of this kind, belong to the daily provisioning cyclists of the turn of France. Verviétois like their tart with an undercrust of Macaron S under rice, in other areas one furnishes them with Cerise S or other fruits.
