Tarso Anibal Sant' Anna Marques (born the January 19th 1976 with Curitiba with the Brazil -) is a racing driver Brésil IEN, which was a pilot good of promotion and also disputed 24 GP of Formule 1 at Minardi between 1996 and 2001. In 2007, it disputes the championship of Brazilian Stock-car.

Biography

Tarso begins in automobile competition as a practitioner the Karting as of the 12 years age. In 1992, it engages in Opel Formula where it takes down 4 successes. In 1993, it gains a victory in South American championship of Formule 3. It can then try to engage in the higher category and in 1994, it becomes pilot of F3000 at Vortex- Reynard. It remains, still today, the youngest pilot (18 years) to have registered a point there. In 1995 it passes to PREJUDICES where it gains a success which enables him to take down the 5th place in intercontinental championship.

The Scuderia Minardi engages it in Formula 1 in 1996 to replace Giancarlo Fisichella for 2 races. It also carries out tests for Arrows at the end of the season. In 1997, Minardi engages it starting from the GP of France to finish the season to replace Jarno Trulli (without great results).

Without wheel in 1998, it reorientates its automobile career in 1999 by obtaining a contract in CART in the stable Penske where it manages to mark only 4 points. In 2000, it must leave Penske for the TEAM Forsythe.

In 2001, it tries once again its chance in F1 at Minardi at the side of Fernando Alonso. Its performances, very in withdrawal of those of the future world champion, lead Minardi to replace it by Alex Yoong starting from GP of Italy 2001.

After 3 years without wheel, it goes back to the USA to try its chance in Champcar in 2004 and 2005 at Dale Coyne Racing.
