Tarrasch defense
The defense Tarrasch is an opening, with the Jeu of failures, whose creation is allotted to Siegbert Tarrasch.
The blows which constitute it are the following:
1.d4 d5
2.c4 e6
3.Cc3 c5
It should not especially be confused with the Tarrasch alternative of French defense! Indeed, it is about an alternative of the gambit lady (refused).
Its Code ECO (for Encyclopedia off Chess Openings ) is the D32-D34.
