The Tarification EDF indicates different the type of tariffings of EDF (Tarif of electricity).

If the law on the right to opposable housing of March 6th, 2007 includes/understands an amendment making it possible to the small consumers to be given regulated tariffs of electricity, including in the event of removal or emménagement on an existing site or a new site, until 2010, it should be noted that this tariffing was indirectly called into question, on November 30th, 2006, by the Constitutional council, which invalidated several provisions of the relative bill to the energy sector. The permanent character of the managed tariffs of the gas (article 17 of this law) was thus considered to be “obviously incompatible with the objectives of opening to competition laid down by the Community directives " énergie" , whose submitted law has the aim of ensuring the transposition”. This decision, which formally is restricted to cancel Article 17, fed a speculation and a polemic on the possible disappearance of the controlled tariffs of gas then by rebound of those of electricity.

3 types of tariffs (gone controlled or customer not having put forward their eligibility)

Blue tariff (3kVA with 36kVA)

Basic options

the tariffs indicated are including all taxes at August 16th, 2007, taking account of local taxes which can vary according to the department and from the commune of the place of delivery.
  • basic Tariff 3kVA --> price of constant kWh (0.1325 €/kWh)
  • basic Tariff 6kVA to 36 kVA --> price of constant kWh (0.1085 €/kWh)

Option Off-peak hours

(or day/night or double tariff)
  • Tariff only available starting from 6kVA --> price of constant kWh (HP=0.1085 €/kWh and HC=0.0661 €/kWh)
For information: on the new meters, one reveals HCreuses and HPleines while pressing on the button " défilement".

Option Tempo

(is not proposed any more but always present at the catalog; the agents should not make promotion of it any more but the subscription is renewed)
  • Option doubles compulsory tariff and minimum capacity of 9kVA

3 Types of day:
  • blue : price of low kWh (300 days in the year, HC=0.0456 €/kWh and HP=0.0566 €/kWh)
  • white : price of normal kWh (43 days in the year, HC=0.0931 €/kWh and HP=0.1104 €/kWh)
  • red : price of high kWh (22 days in the year, HC=0.1728 €/kWh and HP=0.4833 €/kWh)

This tariff is accompanied by a case which connects on an electrical outlet and which indicates the tariff color of the following day.

Obliteration of the Days of Point (EJP)

This tariff is proposed only with the companies since the end of 1998, but the subscriptions in the course of the private individuals are not stopped.

It consists in discouraging the use of current during the days when the network is requested the most (because of the Froid in particular) by a surtaxed price, n the other hand of a rather important reduction the remainder of the year.

The principle is to impose to the customers having the option EJP, 22 days of 18 hours obliteration (of 7:00 to 1:00 of the morning), between on November 1st and on March 31st, during which the price of electricity is surtaxed.

They n the other hand profit from a strongly reduced price the remainder of the year.

Yellow tariff (36 with 250kVA)

Generally dedicated to the large companies or small the Factory S. The energy is delivered in low tension after payment of a fixed price, which represents part of the investment of the switchyard. This tariff takes into account 2 Saison S (be, Hiver), of the hours full and the off-peak hours. This tariff policy reveals very important variations of the prices of kWh which encourages the users with energy saving during the rush hours.

Green tariff (> 250kVA)

This tariff is applied to the installations fed on average and High voltage by a Transformateur private pertaining to the company user (exp.: Large Factories (automobile assembly line…), certain buildings (Defense with Paris…) etc…). One counts 4 modes of use (very long use, long use, flat rate and short use) and 5 periods tariff P1 with P5. (P1: rush hours, P2: Full hours Winter, P3: Off-peak hours Winter, P4: Full hours Summer, P5: Off-peak hours Summer).

Accounting

The electromechanical meters (those with the disc) are specific to each tariffing. Contrary, the electronic meters can adapt to all the tariff range (inside each tariff: blue, yellow and green).
