Mizuki Tôji is a character of the Manga Naruto .

Mizuki is one of the professors of the Academy of the ninjas of Konoha. During the third test of Naruto to the final examination, he is inspector with his colleague Iruka Umino for the ultimate test. Naruto makes a quite poor service then that Mizuki vainly tries to develop. Iruka, intransigent, do not let themselves convince and readjust the young boy.

A little later, Mizuki discusses with Naruto and advises to him to go to steal to Hokage a roller which permetterait to him to make a success of the examination. In fact, this roller contains prohibited techniques that Mizuki would like to obtain. In the night, Naruto manages to seize the roller and is found pursued by the ninjas of the village. Iruka finds it, followed closely by Mizuki which then tries to recover the roller. It is at this time which Mizuki reveals in Naruto that it has in him Kyuubi and that therefore the other villagers avoid it. Whereas Mizuki tries to kill the young boy, Iruka interposes and is wounded with the back. Naruto parveint to beat Mizuki with the single technique which it has learned from the roller, Multiclonage of the shade ( Kage Bunshin No Jutsu ).

Escape (only animated)

The character of Mizuki will be re-used in an arc out of the ordinary of the animated series. He will escape from prison with the two greedy brothers: Raijin and Fujin and with the seal which Orochimaru inflicted to him, want to develop its capacity, it succeeds while being transformed into a kind of tiger but will be made stop by Iruka and Naruto. Mizuki swallows a drug to be stronger but the side effects are such which will be able to fight never again.
