Tardoire
Tardoire is a French river which runs in the departments of High-Vienna and of Charente.
Geography
Tardoire takes its source with the pond of Brua close to Châlus in High-Vienna. It runs in narrow throats on a crystalline ground until Montbron. The ground becomes calcareous then and it starts to lose its water in pits. It runs towards the North-West on 70 km then is engulfed under Rochette, a loss close to Coulgens in the Karst of Rochefoucauld. At the time of the risings, and only then, it joined the Bonnieure.

Hydrology
Tardoire, Bandiat and the Bonnieure are rivers with resurgences which feed the Karst of Rochefoucauld and the Touvre.The Touvre is born from several sources, under the ruins of the castle of Touvre. It runs only on 12 km, but over a width from 80 to 100 Mr. It joined the Charente close to Angouleme.
