Taranatha
Jetsun Taranatha , or Kunga Nyingpo , (1575 - 1634) is one of the precursory Masters of the school Jonang of the Bouddhisme Tibetan and a thinker of the philosophical school Shentong and a promoter of will tantra Kalachakra. It founded the monastery of Takten Phuntsok Ling close to the monastery of Jomonang, in the province of the Tsang around Shigatse. It is known the like one of largest well-read men, historians and practitioners of his time. Its two works the best known ones are Histoire of Buddhism in India and Origines of Tantra de Tara , still called the Rosaire of gold .
It spent the twenty last years of its life at the Mongolian khalkhas where it spread the Buddhist lesson. Bogdo Zanabazar (1635 - 1723), first Bogdo Gegen, Mongolian line of main réincarné of the school Gelugpa, was identified like its reincarnation.
He was also recognized like an emanation of Taï Sitou Rinpoché by Masters of the line Kagyupa.
