Tanquetazo
The Tanquetazo or the Tancazo , was a Coup d'etat carried out against the government Socialiste of the Unidad Popular of the president Salvador Allende, with the Chile. It took place the June 29th 1973.
The name of Tanquetazo comes owing to the fact that the rebels massively used Tanks and other heavy fighting vehicles. Resistance was carried out by the soldiers of the constitutional mode and the Commander-in-chief of the Army Carlos Prats.
