Tanit
Tanit is a goddess of origin phenician charged to take care of the fertility, the births and the growth. It was the guardian goddess of the town of Serepta and its worship became extensive with Carthage where it was named Oum . It was the Parèdre of the god Ba' Al Hammon.
Tanit is called Tanit bolt Baal (literally “face of baal”) after approximately 400 av. J. - C., like Tinit or Tinêt .
Tanit was interpreted by the Romains like a particular form of Junon: Iuno Caelestis , quickly become Caelestis .
