Tangier-Tétouan

The area of Tangier-Tétouan (in Arab: rear RTL طنجةتطوان) is one of the sixteen areas Morocco. It is with the north-western point of Morocco. Its surface is of: 11570 km ² for a population of: 2470372 inhabitants. Its chief town is the town of Tangier.

The area is bathed by the Mediterranean in north and the Atlantic Ocean in the west. It has a border with Spain, and more particularly with the town of Ceuta, wedged, and asserted by Morocco like leaves the area.

Economy

The economic main activity is agriculture, the breeding, the forest and fishing with 43,5% follow-ups of the trade (14,4%) and industry and the craft industry (13,7%).
