Tamworth

Tamworth is a historical city, located in the county of Staffordshire, in England. It is with 27 kilometers (17 miles) in the North-East of Birmingham and with 198 kilometers (123 miles) of London. The city owes its name with the river which crosses the city.

With the last census of 2001 the city had a population of 74.531 inhabitants.

The city is known for its castle and its football team: Tamworth FC.
