Tampopo (タンポポ) is a Japanese film of Juzo Itami, left in 1985, with Tsutomu Yamazaki, Nobuko Miyamoto and Ken Watanabe.

Hangs film, " the first western-nouille" , is a pun on the term of Western spaghetti.

The screen is the history of Tampopo, Japanese restorer who tries to find the receipt of the noodle soup (rāmen, ラーメン) ultimate, with the assistance of a team carried out by a mysterious and solitary man. Other stories cross film, in particular the érotico-food adventures of a man in complete white, the compulsive obsession of an old woman, the last meal of a mother, a business dinner…

The whole is jubilatoire, and certain scenes are memorable (the scene of the egg yolk for example).
