Tammany Hall
The Tammany Hall was an abstract political organization, associated with the democratic party, which played an important role with New York between 1790 and the Années 1960. Tammany Hall controlled the democratic party as well as the Patronage with Manhattan, of the victory of Fernando Wood in 1854 with the election of the republican Fiorello Guardia in 1934. As from this date, the influence of the organization decreases until its disappearance.
