Talila
Talila is a singer Yiddish and French actress , born in France of Jewish parents Polish. In its spectacles, she tells between the songs of the stories of friends, parents, between nostalgia, humor and small details of the daily life.
The film Yiddish, Yiddish (1996), of Jean-Claude Baumerder, makes his portrait and beyond wonders about the culture of the Jews of Central Europe: “Which is the place of the Yiddish today, which is its direction, which it arrived to him and which is its future? (...) The Yiddish is always there, of course it underwent many reverses, but it did not die. To preserve this language can, today still, being considered as an act of resistance against those which tried to remove it”, explains the realizer.
The theater, Talila in particular played in Yadja or the head elsewhere (2004), of Bianca Marzner and daN Wollman, put in scene by Zohar Wexler.
It took part as artist in many ceremonies of the memory, in particular at the time of commemorations of the raid of Vel' d' Hiv as that of 1995 when Jacques Chirac recognized the responsibility for France in the Shoah.
