Taku To rivet

The Taku River is a coastal river which runs British Columbia with the Canada to the north-western coast of North America, with Juneau in Alaska.

Durand the 18th century and the beginning of 19th, the Taku Indians controlled the roads commercial on the river and forced Améridiens of the interior to call upon them to be able to trade with the first European establishments on the coasts.

The Compagnie of Hudson Bay establishes a station of trade named Fort Durham close Taku River at the beginnings to the Années 1840 to draw advantage from this natural trade route. But the fort was abandoned because nonprofitable.
