Taken by Force is an album of the German group of Hard rock Scorpions, left in 1977.

Recording

Recorded between June and October 1977, this album was the first of the group has to be promoted rather strongly with the the United States as well as the first recorded with Hermann Rarebell, the beater emblematic of Scorpions. Originally musician of studio in England, Hermann joined the group when their beater Rudy Lenners falls ill. Well quickly, Rarebell imposes its mark within the group, its blows of rod " whistling like fouets" (according to the magazine Melody Maker ). It competes with even Klaus Meine in the writing of the words of the songs, with " He' S.A. Woman, She' S.A. Man".

Composition of the album

The album even contains to him some of the more beautiful songs of the group period Uli Jon Roth like " The Sails Off Charon" , individual the " He' S.A. Woman, She' S.A. Man" and especially " We' L Burn The Sky" , one of the more beautiful songs of Scorpions in the absolute whose words were written with the memory of Jimi Hendrix by Monika Dannemann, his/her ex-small friend (it was then partner of Uli Jon Roth).

Following the example preceding album, Virgin Killer , the small pocket representing a military cemetery prohibited and was replaced by a photograph of the group. The censured small pocket is always available to the Japan.
