Taizhou (泰州; Pinyin: Tàizhōu) is a city of the center of the province of the Jiangsu in China.

Administrative divisions

The city-prefecture of Taizhou exerts its jurisdiction on six subdivisions - two districts and four city-counties  :

• the district of Hailing - 海陵区 Hǎilíng Qū   ;
• the district of Gaogang - 高港区 Gāogǎng Qū   ;
• the town of Jingjiang - 靖江市 Jìngjiāng Shì   ;
• the town of Taixing - 泰兴市 Tàixīng Shì   ;
• the town of Jiangyan - 姜堰市 Jiāngyàn Shì   ;
• the town of Xinghua - 兴化市 Xīnghuà Shì .
