Tai-Kadai languages
The languages tai-kadai , sometimes simply called languages Kadai , are a family of languages of continental Southeast Asia and south of the China.
It was considered formerly that these languages belonged to the family of the Langues sino-Tibetans, but they are classified separately today.
Certain linguists seek to bring closer the tai-kadai family to that of the Langues austronésiennes, while being based on a bottom of basic vocabulary: personal pronouns, nouns of number, names of part of body etc
The languages tai-kadai are probably originating in the Guangxi in the south of China and the adjacent areas in Vietnam north, where the diversity of these languages is highest. The speakers of the Langues tai settled in the countries neighborhood, became since the Thailand and the Laos.
