Tahure
Tahure is an old commune of the department of the Marne.
History
The village of Tahure counted 185 inhabitants in 1911. During the First World War, the village was destroyed. It was raised never again, victim of this war.During the creation of the military camp of Suippes in 1950, the commune was officially removed, and its territory attached to the common neighbor of Sommepy, which took then the name of Sommepy-Tahure to perpetuate the memory of the disappeared village.
Geography
Tahure is in the North-East of the department of the Marne, between Rheims and Verdun, with the crossroads of the roads of Cernay-in-Dormois, Sommepy, Souain and Suippes.
