Tahitienne Federation of football

The Fédération tahitienne of football (FTF) is an association gathering the clubs of Football of French Polynésie and organizing national competitions and the international matches of the team of Tahiti, thus called by FIFA.

Heiress of the Tahitienne Federation of the Athletic Sports (founded on March 30th, 1932) and of the Football league of French Polynesia (founded on November 15th, 1969), the Federation Tahitienne de Football was founded the July 27th 1989, under the impulse of her historic leader, Napoleon Spitz.

She is affiliated with FIFA since the June 7th 1990 and is member of OFC since 1990. The former president of the FTF and player of FC Nantes, Reynald Temarii, is president of the Confédération of the Football of Oceania since 2004.

The FTF organizes the Championnat of French Polynesia of football and the Coupe of French Polynesia of football.
