Tahara (Japan)
Tahara (田原市, Tahara-shi ) is a city (市, shi ) of the Préfecture of Aichi, with the Japan. The city was founded on August 20th, 2003 by the fusion of the boroughs of Tahara and Akabane. October 1st, 2005 the borough of Atsumi (District of Atsumi) was integrated into Tahara. Population of the east city of 66.394 inhabitants for a surface of 188,58 km ² (2005).
The Car manufacturer Toyota has an important factory with Tahara, where are produced the models of the mark Lexus and some models of the mark Toyota.
