Tadorne of paradise
The tadorne of paradise or tadorne of New Zealand ( Tadorna variegata ) belongs to the family of the Anatidé S. the sexual dimorphism is spectacular at this species, indeed, the male with the entirely black head and the neck whereas they are white in the female. This species lives in couple, she attends the open mediums such as the meadows and the fields. Contrary to many endemic species of New Zealand, the tadorne of paradise profited from the arrival of Europeans on the island since the deforestation and the creation of artificial lakes increased the extent of territory favorable to the species.
