Café Tacvba is a group of Mexican Rock . The group, whose music cannot be easily classified in a particular kind due to the fickleness of its rates/rhythms, began its professional path in 1989, although they existed already front. They gained a Grammy Award and a Latin Grammy Awards.

The noun of origin, Café Tacuba was modified for that of Tacvba Coffee, with a " v" to avoid legal conflicts with a restaurant of the same name located in the center of Mexico City.

Biography

Los Tacubos, name popular of the group, handles a great quantity of styles, which does of them one of the groups more innovating of their country, having touched to the Hip-hop, Ska, Rock, metal and other kinds. Their music was influenced mainly by the folk music of the indigenous population of Mexico City, but also by other Mexican groups and states-uniens.

Formation

• Rubén Isaac Albarrán Ortega, Song and Guitar. Until 2001, it played in an instrumental alternative group called Villa Jardín. In 2006 it made the promotion of its beginnings in solo, Bienvenido Al sueño , instrumental electronic disc with the Buddhist influences and précolombiennes Mexican or, like itself says it " protonic music not to limit it or the stéréotyper". It is also known under the name of Juan , Pinche Juan , Cosme , Masiosare , Anónimo , Nrü , Amparo Tonto Medardo In Lak' ech , At Medardo ILK , G3 , Gallo Gasss , Gallo Glass , Élfego Buendía , Rita Cantalagua , Sizu Yantra , Ixaya Mazatzin Tleyotl or Ixxi Xoo and now Cone Cahuitl. He lived the first four years of his life with Monterrey. He studied with " The Metropolitan Autonomous University" a license in graphic design.

• Emmanuel del Real Díaz, Same , keyboard, acoustic guitar, Piano, programming, Song and Mélodica. He works with the label Noiselab and composes for groups like Natalia and Forquetina. He is known like Meme or DJ Angustias . He studied with " The Metropolitan Autonomous University".
• Jose Alfredo Rangel Stream, Joselo , electric guitars and acoustics and Song. In 2001 it leaves its first disc solo, Oso , does not produce his/her friend Rubén Albarrán and accompanied by the Mexican group Liquits. In 2005 it presents its second work, Lejos , recorded in the Southern Studios of the Chile, under the production of Álvaro Henríquez, which played besides of the guitar in all the tracks of the disc. He studied with " The Metropolitan Autonomous University" a license in graphic design.
• Enrique Rangel Stream, Quique , low, Double bass, Tololoche, Guitarrón and chorus. Graphic designer of profession, it holds his own workshop where it completes the graphic work of the solos projects of the members of the group but also of the group like such, in addition to that of other colleagues. He also plays in the group Los odio with Paco Hubidoro, Javier of Cueva and Tomás, the beater of Lupita.
• Alejandro Flora, interprets folk music, is regarded as the fifth Tacubo since he played of the Violon to almost all the concerts of the group since 1994.
• Shine Ledezma, El Children , plays of the battery to all the concerts (but not in all the songs of the last album) but is not regarded as official member of the group.
