Tact
The tact is a term employed in music to indicate which (S) Doigt (S) is or are employed (S) to play a note.
With the Piano, the fingers are numbered from 1 to 5, the inch being the n°1, and auricular the n°5.
On the string instruments, the fingers of the left hand are numbered from 1 to 4 and the absence of pressure of the finger (the open string ) is noted 0. The inch is generally not used on the key (except for the Guitare jazz or folk, and very seldom the traditional Guitare) except in the modern technology of the Violoncelle which makes an extensive use of this finger posed across the cords: the inch is then noted Ϟ .
For the string instruments pinches, the fingers of the right hand are indicated by various systems; that is to say the initial one of the finger ( p for inch, I for index…), that is to say by a system of points (index: 1 point, major 2 points, annular 3 points) and of bar for the inch.
For the instruments wind, the chart of a tact indicates which holes must be sealed or which actuated keys.
