T 27
Chinese express train (see rail-bound Transport in China). The T 27 is currently the most train of the world (Apogée with 5072 meters altitude to see Railway line Qing-Zang) in front of the railroad of the Andes. It daily connects Beijing (Beijing) to Lhassa in 48 hours out of 4400 km of ways at a mean velocity of 90 km/h. T 27 indicates in fact the connection since Beijing towards Lhassa, in the other direction its name differs but in accordance with the Chinese nomenclature, its number is even if it goes towards Beijing.
The line was open in July 2006. This day a streamer had been placed in the central station of Beijing at the beginning of the train indicating: " This train is designed for détruire". The Lhassa-Beijing connection is indeed discussed since it is perceived like a way moreover for the Popular republic of China of showing her anchoring with the Tibet. But if the Dalai Lama were opposed to the construction of the line it expressed, the day of opening, the hope which it put in this train which " will allow to leave Tibet poverty and arriération." On the technical plan, the train comprises many installations suitable to make the voyage the least difficult in spite of the roughness of the external environment.
