T 1 AL 2001 to 2012
The locomotive with vapor of the group T1 are the first engines-tender produced on behalf of the Head office of the railroads of Alsace-Lorraine (EL) then under German administration. Indeed, since 1871, creation date of this company, this one had acquired various rather heterogeneous materials near other companies or directly near manufacturers, without really defining standard . Alsatian T1 , even if they take as a starting point the T1 royal Railroads of Prussia (KPEV) , were elaborate starting from certain precise choices: of provision of Axle 020 with total adhesion, they were without dome of vapor catch, they had a distribution external by one of type “slides of Allan”. This reduced model was to be able to circulate on the particular junction and connection, sidings, often poorly maintained.
Built between 1879 and 1881, the twelve machines of this type present some differences coming from the choices of the manufacturers:
- D8 n° 452 with 455 (then T1 2001 with 2004 ) and D9 n° 456 and 457 ( T1 2005 and 2006 ), built by EMBG of Graffenstaden in 1879 and 1880. They were heaviest of the series (27,06 T). Their reform spreads out between 1908 and 1920,
- D10 n° 458 (then T1 2007 ) built in 1880 also by EMBG of Graffenstaden; it is about a version reduced of the preceding series. It was reformed in 1910,
- D12 n° 460 ( T1 2008 ) built by Henschel at the end of 1880; it is also about a reduced model but with footing reduced compared to the machines delivered by EMBG, it was reformed in 1909.
- D13 n° 461 and 462 ( T1 2009 and 2010 ) delivered by Henschel in 1881; they were close to the preceding machine while being a little heavier. The 2009 was reformed in 1910 and the 2010 was it in 1913.
- D14 n° 463 and 464 ( T1 2011 and 2012 ) built in 1881 by Henschel; they were lightest of T1 (16,48 T) and derived from the preceding series. Their reform took place 1913.
