TV2

TV2 is a Television channel public general practitioner of the Ivory Coast.

History of the chain

The second channel of television of the Ivory Coast, baptized Channel 2 , is born on December 9th 1983. It is initially a very small chain without publicity, nor information which diffuses only 2 days per week (Tuesday and Friday starting from 20:30) on a radius of 50 km around Abidjan.

November 1st 1991, the chain is reformatée under the name of TV2 , and becomes a specialized channel of proximity which emits the every day on a water collecting area widened to 150 km around Abidjan.

Programs

TV2 is a specialized channel of proximity centered on the entertainment (serials, emissions of entertainment, cartoons, films, clips), but which diffuses also many magazines. All its emissions are carried out in the buildings of the first chain.

Diffusion

TV2 can be collected on a radius of 150 kilometers around Abidjan in the areas of the Lagoons (Abidjan), the Agnéby (Agboville) and of the South-Comoé (Aboisso).
