TSF 98 is a radio associative of Hérouville-Saint-Clearly in the Calvados.

Created in 1981 in the explosion of the free radios by Joel Letensorer and a group of young person hérouvillais, it bears the name of " initially; radio grip oreille" and is lodged in a cellar of a building of Hérouville under very summary conditions. It is made help by an association hérouvillaise (" Hérouville jeune") during one year before becoming completely independent while assembling itself in association law 1901. After its removal in 1983 in more adapted buildings and its fusion with Channel 14, a Pirate radio station trade unionist, it takes his current name, direct reference to the frequency under which it emits since its creation.

Known mainly for its information of proximity and its very métissée music, it also relays the programs of RFI the night and on certain newspapers.

After a new removal, TSF fété its 20 years in 2002. It was at that time one of the two only associative radios of the Caen-native agglomeration (with 666) resulting from the movement of the free radios, the remainder of the band FM being occupied today by the sales networks and the public radios.
