The gun tractor drawn of 155 mm Tr F1 is a part of Artillerie ground-to-ground Frenchwoman. It is produced by the company of armament Nexter (ex Giat Industries). In 2006, the Army French had 105 of them.

Canon of Gauge 155 mm intended to equip the regiments with artillery of divisions of infantry and armor-plated light divisions. It can only move thanks to its power unit (8 km/h). Its loading is semi-automatic.

History

It is set up at the 11 {{E}} regiment of marine artillery and at the 68 {{E}} regiment of artillery during the years 1989-90. 16 parts were been useful by 11th RAMa at the time of the Guerre of Kuwait (1990-1991) and supported the combat of the Division Daguet.

Today, five regiments of the French forces are equipped with it: the 11 {{E}} regiment of marine artillery, the 93 {{E}} regiment of artillery of mountain, the 35 {{E}} regiment of artillery parachutist, the 3 {{E}} regiment of marine artillery as well as the 5 {{E}} regiment interarmes of overseas of Djibouti.
