The tics are movements compulsifs surprising by their abrupt and inappropriate character with the situation.
Characters of the tics
A tic usually presents the following characters:
- suggestibility : the degree of emotivity and the attention of the subject influence the release of the tic.
- involuntary or semi-volunteer : the tic is spontaneous or parasitic a deliberated movement.
- suppressible temporarily : the tic answers momentarily an effort of control
- need carried out (to move is urgent)
- remittent : the frequency of the tics knows momentary reductions.
One distinguishes several types of tics:
