TELECOM Lille 1
TELECOM Lille 1 (in the past ENIC) is a University engineers French public/private specialized in the field of the Sciences and communication and information technologies.
TELECOM Lille 1 is on the campus of the Université of Sciences and Technologies of Lille at Villeneuve d' Ascq close to Lille.
History
Created in 1990, the ENIC (New School Engineers in Communication) belonged to the new dies of engineers (NFI). These dies had been created to meet the growing need engineers able to occupy of the framing or administrative duties. As of the beginning, the Formation by alternation with the ENIC was proposed by the importance of in-company trainings. This aspect is always primodial in the formation of TELECOM Lille 1 to date.
With the beginning of the year 2000, a new die based on the training is created.
The ENIC also developed a strong expertise in the open Formation and remote (or E-learning) since its creation. The dies TuttelVidéo then TuttelNet (since 2000) form several tens of engineers TELECOM Lille 1 each year.
In 2001, in order to better reflect its membership in the world of the Telecommunications and STIC, the school chose the name of transition ENIC TELECOM Lille 1 for finally adopting on December 22nd, 2005 TELECOM Lille 1 , official name of the school today.
Until 2006, the school prepared with a diploma for the occupation of engineer delivered jointly by USTL and INT. Since then, TELECOM Lille 1 delivers the diploma on its behalf.
TELECOM Lille 1 Groupement d'Interet Economique belongs to a founded at the origin cojointement by France Telecom and the school. This Groupement d'Interet Economique is directed today by the Groupe of the schools of telecommunications and the Université of Sciences and Technologies of Lille.
Recruitment
TELECOM Lille 1 fact part of the bank of contest GEIPI (Grouping of public schools of engineers with integrated course) for the selection in initial training of the future graduates S. the selection in initial training for graduates STI, the training and continuing education is done in-house with TELECOM Lille 1.
Formation
The formation approaches various fields of STIC like the Télécommunications, the electronic , the Informatique, the networks, the information systems, the Multimédia but also the Social sciences, the Management, the Project management, and the languages.
The formation is declined in various courses accessible at various levels of studies and offers several possible options of specialization.
Various courses
Initial training (FI)
Initial training is a training in five years which is addressed to the graduates. The basic cycle, two years, makes it possible to acquire the necessary bases in Mathématiques, Physique, Électronique, Informatique and Économie. The cycle engineer is composed three six-month periods of deepening, two scientific options and of an option management (two six-month periods) and one six-month period of project of end of studies in company. Several in-company trainings are obligatory during the formation.
Formation by Training (F)
The formation by training is a training in three years addressing itself to the pupils having a VAT +2 (HAD, BTS). The pupils alternate presence in company and course at the school.
Continuing education (FP)
Continuing education is addressed to the people having minimum a Bac+2 level and at least four years of experience professional. The formation lasts two to three years, training course of end of studies included/understood, according to whether the cycle of handing-over on level is followed or not.
Remote continuing education (TTN)
Within the framework of this formation, the courses are followed remotely thanks to the TuTelNet platform (TTN).
Validation of the Assets of the Experiment (VAE)
Obtaining whole or part of the diploma for the occupation of engineer TELECOM Lille 1 is also possible within the framework of the Validation of the Assets of the Experiment (VAE).

Teachers
The teachers of TELECOM Lille 1 are teacher-researchers (Professors and university lecturers) of the Université of Sciences and Technologies of Lille or teacher-researchers of the National institute of Telecommunications (school of the GET) or teacher-researchers of the GIE TELECOM Lille 1. In certain fields, the school also calls upon professionals of the fields concerned.
