Definition

In Vertebrate Neuroanatomie of the S, the télencéphale what is called indicates usually the Cerveau . More specifically, they are the unit consisted the cerebral Hémisphères (cerebral Cortex, white Substance and structures Sous-cortical be) and the associated structures.

The télencéphale appears at the stage 5 blisters of the embryonic Neurodéveloppement , when the Prosencéphale is divided into two, the rostrale part forming the télencéphale and the caudal part giving the Diencéphale.

On the Phylogenetic level, it acts of the nervous structure most recent and it is particularly developed at the Mammifères and in particular the Primates.
