The télémédecine gathers a whole of medical practices permitted by techniques of telecommunications.
History
It is the
November 8th 1994, which place had the first demontration of télémédecine; an examination scanner with x-rays had been controlled since the Hôtel-Dieu of
Montreal (
Canada) on a patient located in the apparatus of the Hôpital Cochin, with
Paris (
France). In
2001, an operation of téléchirurgie was carried out between
New York (where was the surgeon) and
Strasbourg (where was the patient).
