TéléSavoirs is a WebTV in Vidéo with the request (Television channel on Internet) dedicated to the diffusion and the questioning of the scientific thought . It is created in 1999.

The WebTV makes it possible to explore new Concept S of Télévision to the request which the deployment of the high bancs allows (not Publicité, not of Redevance, not of Abonnement, not of time constraint, world diffusion, permanent Accessibilité of the Programme S, car-programming by the Internaute S, Micropaiement with the request…).

On a leading line close to the pages Science S of the Daily national or Magazine S of Popularization scientific, TéléSavoirs has as an ambition to contribute to:

the dissemination of the Knowledge S scientists towards the general public and the Civil society,
the comprehension of the stakes of the Research and the valorization of the Enquiring trade of , in the context of the development of the tops and very high bancs (ADSL, cable, mobile 3G, Wi-Fi…) and of television on Internet,
the Constitution of a video library of the knowledge Contemporary S, permanently accessible on line and testifying, from the historical point of view, state of the scientific Debate at the beginning of the 21e century,
the emergence of an offer of alternative Télévision to deprogramming continues scientific programs on the chains of “traditional” TV.
