Téboursouk is a city of the north of the Tunisia located at approximately 100 kilometers in the west of Tunis.

Attached to the Governorship of Béja, it constitutes a municipality of 10.987 inhabitants (2006).

Located at the foot of the Téboursouk mounts in the Tunisian Dorsal , the city is built with semi-slope of a Colline with 400 meters of altitude. It overhangs Oliveraie S in the Vallée of the Oued Khaled.

It preserves antique Thubursicum Bure large a pregnant Byzantine of pentagonal form , set up under the reign of Justin II (565 - 578), and whose northern face includes a carries and a Roman Cimetière.

The city obtains the statute of municipality in 1904 under the French protectorate and the statute of Chef-lieu of delegation to the independence of Tunisia. In 2004, the municipality celebrated the centenary of its creation.
