Tébessa
Tébessa (or Tbessa ) (Tifinagh: , Arab: تبسة) is a city and wilaya of Algérie, located at 20 km of the algéro-Tunisian border, in the Aurès area Berbère Chaoui. Its altitude is of 960 Mr.
In Antiquity, the Roman city of Theveste was used as place of garrison for the IIIe legion Auguste. With its airfield, this city was a place of important supply for the Allies at the time of the Bataille of Kasserine.
