Auguste Count had been interested as of 1828 in the brain, after its cerebral episode.

The first diagram of the cerebral table is drawn up in November 1846, after the mourning of died of Clotilde of Are worth.

In his studies on the brain, Auguste Count makes undergo transformations with the theory of Gall.

The final version of the cerebral table is published in the system of positive policy in 1851.

Posterity

The theorist of the right Hans Kelsen would have been based, partly and indirectly, on this work to define his theory of the positive Droit: Normativisme and Pyramid of the standards.
