System administrator

A system administrator is a data processing specialist responsible for the waiters of an organization (Entreprise, association, Administration).

Its tasks include/understand

  • the installation

  • the parameter setting
  • the maintenance
  • the Updated
  • the evolution
  • the Safeguard
  • the restoration
  • the Planning
  • the supervision
  • the council
  • the support
  • and the Technological survey in the technical perimeter of the materials and Software S of the waiter type, mainly the operating systems.

He works within a DSI (Direction of the Information systems) or of a software firm (Services company in Data-processing Engineering).
He intervenes with the DSI (Directing of the information systems), of dBa (Database Administrator, administrator of databases), of the administrators network, the Webmaster S and connected, of the Développeur S, the persons in charge Bureautique (work stations) and finally of the users.
