SystemRescueCd
SystemRescueCd is a Distribution Linux in the form of LiveCD to recover data on a computer after a crash landing. It is used to carry out tasks of administration on the computer such as the creation and the edition of partition S on the Hard drive. It has a certain number of advanced utilities (parted, partimage, fstools, etc) or basic (text editor, Gestionnaire of files, tools network). The core of the system supports the majority of the formats of filesystems (Ext2, Ext3, ReiserFS, XFS, JFS, FAT, NTFS, ISO 9660).
The program ntfs-3G is henceforth included, which makes it possible to read and modify data on partitions NTFS.
The graphic environment Window Maker can be launched with the order startx , to make a research with Firefox or to use GParted (modification of the partitions in graphic mode).
