The Grenadian is a red Sirop, at the origin manufactured containing the pulp of the grenade (still manufactured in certain producers). Today, it is from now on an assembly of 10  % of red juices of Fruits and Vanilla, or their extracts, the whole possibly with a little juice of Lemon-yellow. The fruits used vary in their proportions according to the marks: Raspberry S, blackcurrant, Currant S, Elder tree, strawberry S, Lemon-yellow (or of extracts of those - one speaks then about syrups aromatized with the grenadine ).

Uses

The syrup of Grenadine with Lait is called a " pink Baby ". A fair Bière with a bottom of grenadine is called a " Tango " and if you add Limonade, a " Monaco ". A Pastis aromatized with the grenadine is called a " Tomato ". An orangeade with grenadine is called a " Indian " in France and a " Inhabitant of Li2ege " in Belgium. In Quebec, a fizzy drink with lemon savor/file with grenadine names a Shirley Temple.

In the Cocktail S, the syrup of grenadine is used to form ranges while letting run syrup along the wall of glass, while rotating this one. It enters for example the realization of the Tequila sunrise.
