Syngenta
Exit of fusion in novemebre 2000 of agrochemical divisions of the companies AstraZeneca and Novartis, Syngenta () is a company Suisse specialized in the Chimie and the Agribusiness. It is the world leader in research related to the Agriculture, in particular the crop protection and the market of the Graine S. It markets Maïs LT genetically modified.
In 2004, its sales were assembled to 7,3 billion dollars US. Syngenta employs approximately 19.000 people in more than 90 countries (figures of 2005), including 2.700 in Switzerland. It is with dimensions with SWX and NYSE.
